A little DLL hell here. The old laptop died, and the new one came with Vista… fine and dandy. But I installed my old Onenote 2003, then tried to add in my indispensible powertoys (IE to Onenote), and the install dies, saying I need .NET Framework 1.1.4322. But Vista seems to have arrived with Framework V2 installed, so what’s a user to do? Am I out of luck on this incredibly useful tool?

I too have installed on IE7 and the Send to Onenote does not appear when you right click. (Send to Excel another powertoy does appear).

In fact it crashes in the configuration for it in IE7 with:

I’ve just installed the IE2OneNote powertoy, but the Send button isn’t visible anywhere. I have a fresh install of WindowsXP Pro and IE7. I’ve tried repairing the install, does not work. In IE7-Tools- there is a Send to OneNote Settings option, which seems to say that it’s installed.
Please advise,

IE to onenote is a great tool. However i have found that in certein circumstances i get an arror message of the following:
Sorry Send to onenote powertoy could not create a page in Onenote for some reason. Perhaps the destination is read only but there could be other reasons”
I have checked that it was not read only and it still does not work any suggestions any help would be appreciated. most notable websites that do not work are wikipedia and youtube

I was using the IE2Onenote powertoy on my ver 6 IE. Then I upgraded to version 7 (beta), and IE2Onenote continued to work just great.

Recently, I was forced to reset IE7 to it’s defaults and that’s when the problem started. I have not been able to re-install the powertoy since. I’ve uninstalled, re-installed, I’ve combed through the newsgroup forums and the MS knowledgebase.

Nada. Do you have some good suggestions? Man, I didn’t realize how much I used it until I couldn’t anymore!

Which spyware program are you using? Most spyware programs let you exclude files and programs the user specifies. Try that. If that doesn’t work, reply back and I will try to think of something else.

every time I install this program, my spyware checker removes it because it installs irc.demfire trojan? Help?
