I thought something that would grab what's on the clipboard would work really well. I also use Clipomatic, where it saves previous entries on the clipboard, and if you hit Ctrl-Alt-V, it brings up a short menu (kind of like a right-click menu) where the cursor is, and presents you with the last things you copied. They give you a button in the toolbar, so you just hightlight (or not, for the whole page) and click the button. Think about it -- you see something on a webpage you want to capture. (Or hell, in any app that works with the clipboard!) You hit Ctrl-V-1 and it's pasted in a new SideNote. Or Ctrl-V-2 and it's pasted as a new item in a section called Personal. All you'd need to do is map the sections to the numbers, and away you go! If you wanted to get crazy, you could even choose a note label. This would be awesome! Right now, I copy, I open up a new sidenote (Windows-N) and paste, then Alt-F4 to close the sidenote.
