Migrate from FlexWiki to OneNote

February20

Joshua Flanagan is working on migrating from FlexWiki to OneNote, so he created a utility to migrate the data. So far he has…

I am making the source code available in the hopes that someone can take it and run with it. Be warned, it is not pretty. It currently only supports the following subset of FlexWiki formatting:

  • Intra-site wiki page links and external hyperlinks. Federated wiki links are not supported.
  • Bold and italic text
  • All headings are simply translated as bold text
  • Bulleted lists (but not nested bulleted lists)
  • Tables

“Migrate from FlexWiki to OneNote”

I keep seeing all these things to import info into Onenote, but I want to easily publish my notebooks.

I use Onenote and an OQO handtop tablet PC as my electronic lab notebook (check it out at my website http://www.e-lab-book.com). I would like to publish my notebook on my website, but it seems I would have to publish every individual page, then on each page add maybe a sidebar with links to other pages/folders/etc. Alot of work.

Are there any solutions to this? It doesn’t seem like it would be terribly hard for you programmers :) , I’m a tech junky biochemist but don’t have the time/ability to make such a plugin. If something does exist like this please tell me on my website.
