Canvas for OneNote

Canvas was recently updated to support Windows XP and Office 2010…

Canvas for OneNote allows you to navigate and edit notebooks in a new way by providing a high-level canvas-view of all your content. The prototype lets you zoom and pan around; view and organize content in new ways; add new pages right where you want them; and even locate pages in a timeline view.

  1. I have been finding out some of your stories and that I should say clever stuff. I will be able to check that to bookmark your blog.

  2. The icon index for OneNote; Cool. Can each page representation be drilled down to the actual page? Does the screen view of the canvas zoom in and out to and from the actual page? This look like the visual index for OneNote.
    Thanks

  4. MS seems to have removed the project. It could be because it is being used as a base for the “Moorea” app in Office 15. Rumored to be a cross between the Courier and Canvas projects, both from the Office Labs team.
    Here’s a link about it… http://www.zdnet.com/blog/microsoft/could-office-15s-moorea-bring-back-elements-of-microsoft-courier/9216

  5. Does anyone can share the Canvas for Onenote 2010 a copy now that it has been removed from the site and can’t be downloaded from microsoft?

  6. Yes, what is it with canvas 2010? Is it available at all? Does anyone have a link or can send us the file?

  7. That’s a 2007 version and doesn’t work with 2010.
