We Need Your Help!

There were 1,000 powertoys entered in the Powertoys contest. We started this blog so there would be one place for them all since Microsoft was/is moving at a snail’s pace. We thought it would be very easy to find most of them. However, 23 powertoys later, we are realizing it is very difficult to find new powertoys.

So, we are asking for your help. If you know of any powertoys besides the ones listed then please contact us so we can write about them here.

Poll Results: OneNote Powertoys Reviews

I didn’t get as many as I had hoped for, but the poll has been on the site long enough. There are the results:

Post Reviews on this Site: 47% (8)
Post Reviews on Note Talkers: 6% (1)
Post Reviews on Both Sites: 47% (8)
No Reviews: 0%

Total Votes: 17

Since there was a tie, I have decided to post on this site, but I will make an annoucement on Note Talkers. That way, everyone is happy. :)

OneNote to WordPress Update

onenotebutton.jpgWindows with Ink just posted this screenshot of his OneNote to WordPress powertoy. He has been working on it for a while and keeps testing it and adding features. This time, he added buttons in OneNote 2007. No word on when he will release the powertoy. My guess is the OneNote 2007 powertoy will be published after OneNote 2007 gets released.

I am very exited about this powertoy because I would have so much use for it. I write my posts in OneNote first to collect all of my ideas and information, then I publish them to WordPress. This powertoy would save me a lot of time.

Site News: List of Powertoys Added

You might have noticed a new tab on our site next to Note Talkers titled “List of Powertoys“.  We are in the process of creating a simple list of all the powertoys we have collected, know about, and write about.  As we keep finding more, we will add to the list.

Later on, we will add small descriptions of the powertoys and sort them into categories.  Please check it out and tell us what you think. :)

Poll – Reviews of Powertoys

I have wanted to review the different powertoys for a while now, but I do not know if it is something people want to read. I am also unsure where to post the reiviews (on this site, on Note Talkers, on both sites).  So, I decided to ask the readers for their input by making a poll (right side).

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

Sid :)

Site News: Fixed the RSS Feed

I was just looking around the site to make sure things worked properly when I noticed that the XML feedburner link on the sidebar was lined to the XML feed of our sister site Note Talkers. I have fixed the error and apologize for any confusion it might have caused.
